Conference Venue

Date
The conference will be held between Wednesday 20 and Friday 22 January 2010.
Official Language
The official language of the Conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
Visa Requirements
Citizen from outside the EU may be required to obtain Visas for their entry. Please contact the German embassy or consulate closest to you for more information.
Electricity
Electricity in Germany is 220V, 50Hz. Continental Europe (Schuko) plugs are used.
Public Transportation
Leipzig has a good public transportation system. A ticket for a single ride within the city (Zone 110) costs 2,- EUR and can be used for 60 minutes. The Conference Venue lies within Zone 110 and is best reached from Main Station / City Centre via tram 3 (direction: Sommerfeld) and tram 13 (direction: Taucha). For both lines, get off at "Permoser- / Torgauer Str.", cross the street twice to the opposite corner and continue 200 m to your right. Then you will reach the main entrance of UFZ and our conference building KUBUS.
Climate in Leipzig
Leipzig and its surroundings are characterised by a temperate climate. Winter is usally rigid and snow can be expected.
