Summary
My experience as a coordinator and writer for the French Institute of the Environment and as a project manager for the French Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development introduced me the problematic of environmental policy-making and communication, at national and European levels. It helped me to understand practically the extent to which environmental issues are multi-faced and why they require a multidisciplinary perspective. I also experienced how continuous efforts to communicate and to build shared understanding may improve institutional actions.
Then, educating future land managers, I have developed a global and concrete vision of policy-making issues for environmental management in the local, national and european context.
Actually, I am deeply motivated to engage with the themes of science-policy interfaces and multi-level biodiversity governance from different disciplinary perspectives.
I would like to continue using my communication and relation skills, my environmental knowledge to pursuing the objective of working as a consultant for a preserved biodiversity and a better environment.
