Project Description The context-dependence of participation in the multi-level governance solutions for biodiversity and water in Europe, identifying the key policy needs for participation in these areas of governance through an understanding of how the legal, political, social and physical contexts, and vertical and horizontal interplay between levels and areas of governance shape the conditions and effectiveness of European policies.
