The objective of this third work package is to critically assess analytical decision tools & participatory processes and to adapt them to specific case studies.
Its main tasks are
- to give an overview analysis and evaluation of state-of-the-art analytical decision tools and participatory processes for issues of multi-level governance of natural resources.
- to evaluate the cases along a common evaluation grid to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of actual multi-level governance. The interviews conducted in the second work package give first suggestions for this task.
- to derive appropriate tools and processes for improving selected specific case studies from the overview evaluation and the wider picture of water and biodiversity governance.
Finally, a main outcome of this work package is the presentation of possibilities for using analytical tools & participatory processes in multi-level governance of natural resources.
